Therapy for grief, loss, and life transitions.

A grounded, supportive space to navigate change, feel seen, and and make sense of what you're carrying. Offering in-person therapy in Metro Detroit and virtual therapy across Michigan.

At Common Thread Therapy, you’re invited to show up exactly as you are.

Whether you’re navigating grief, a major life transition, or a season that feels heavy or uncertain, this is a space where your full experience is welcome.

Together, we’ll make sense of what you’ve been through, explore what matters most to you, and make sense of a life that feels more grounded, connected, and your own.

A grounded, relational approach to therapy

Therapy here is centered on connection. Together, we'll explore your experiences, relationships, and the impact of loss and change, at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable.

My work is especially rooted in grief support, informed by years of experience providing individual therapy and hospice and end-of-life care.

What I can help with:

  • Grief and loss

  • Life transitions and identity shifts

  • Anxiety and emotional overwhelm

  • Burnout and caregiving fatigue

Hi, I’m Kaitlin

I’m a therapist with a background in hospice care and a deep commitment to supporting people through grief and life transitions. My work is shaped by both professional experience and personal understanding of loss, and I approach therapy with warmth, honesty, and care.
